Our mission is to make the mechanics of publishing a book easier to understand, in plain English, for authors who are approaching the process for the first time or without an industry background. Publishing involves a lot of unfamiliar terminology and process — ISBNs, rights, formats, distribution channels — and we try to explain these clearly rather than assuming prior knowledge.

Our Approach to Publishing Education

Where guidance genuinely depends on genre, budget or goals, we try to say so rather than offer one-size-fits-all advice.
